Now

What I’m working on now.

A dated snapshot of the writing, speaking, and questions receiving most of my attention.

Current Focus

July 19, 2026

  • Maintaining a source-first record of developing Memphis civic issues and the decisions moving around them.
  • Tracking Tennessee’s intervention in Memphis-Shelby County Schools across official notices, court records, and public meetings.
  • Building Memphis Unified into a fuller body of research, maps, and public writing about regional fragmentation.
  • Developing Right-size Memphis video essays about the history, geography, and governing choices that shaped the city we inherited.
  • Translating years of production and operations work into practical writing about training, ownership, capacity, and failure.

Availability

What is open

I’m available for selected speaking invitations, podcast conversations, panels, workshops, and writing or collaboration inquiries connected to these concerns.

A useful invitation tells me who is involved, what the work is trying to open, and what kind of clarity would help.

These are the practical lanes where the current questions are becoming public work.

Publication

I’m widening the archive beyond its first institutional cluster, with more work on operations, Memphis, belief, beauty, and public memory.

Speaking

I’m developing talks and facilitated conversations from High-Control, Low-Trustand the practical leadership work surrounding it.

Memphis

I’m working toward a fuller body of writing about the city, regional life, civic memory, fragmentation, and public trust.
